Most often when people feel stuck they look to a life coach to help them. But in reality you are never really stuck. Movement is the key to feeling unstuck. Change is movement. The beginning of the process of becoming unstuck is to change. A life coach can help you change.
There are ten ways that you can spark change in your life:
1. Pursue and interest. Start doing something you always thought you would enjoy. Play the piano, ice skate, anything. It does not matter how good you become, just enjoy what you are doing. Focus on the activity and having fun. Don't turn it into a competition unless that is something you enjoy.
2. Think opposite. Notice how you are thinking and think the opposite. This is an area that a life coach can help you focus on. Thinking in an opposite way will get you out of your normal rut of behavior.
3. Do the opposite. How do you normally act or react in a situation and do the opposite. In relationships you tend to react the same ways in situations. Try reacting differently the next time someone pushes your buttons, or don't react at all. Over time you will realize that you no longer automatically react in a way you don't like.
4. Feel the opposite. Look for ways to feel opposite to how you normally feel when you feel stuck. A life coach can help you with ways and exercises to really work on opposite feelings.
5. Become Conscious. Pay attention to the times that you feel stuck. What is going on? How do you feel? What is in your mind? How would you like things to be different? When you know these answers you can create positive change.
6. Be around other people who are unstuck. Find people to be around that are doing things that you want to do the way you want to do them. It is true that the energy we are around affects our lives. Be around people who have positive energy.
7. Do things that make you feel alive. Participate in activities that make you feel good. Do things that you don't normally do.
8. Trust your instinct and impulses. Believe that what you do will work to make changes in your life. Listen to your inner ear and follow through.
9. Help someone else. You will feel better immediately when you help someone else. There is positive energy as a result of helping others.
10. Let go and relax. Don't feel pressured by the idea that you need to change or you won't be happy if you don't change. Enjoy your life.
